A fun, safe place to learn about Jesus and the bible
CNLF Children's Ministry is for kids aged 3 to 12 years old. Our aim is to teach God's word at a level that each child can understand, and encourage their spiritual growth to know and love God and others. Kids Ministry starts after praise and worship and runs for approximately 45 min. Our program is fun and interactive and based around an illustrated bible story. All our teachers and volunteers have WWCC.

Theme 2024
The theme for our church this year is "FAITH, LOVE, HOPE". We believe that our children need a firm foundation built on the Word of God and that is what our Kids Ministry strives to do. This year we have decided to build our own lesson plans based on our church's' theme for 2024.
For the first half of the year we will focus on "FAITH" and look at key Hero's of Faith in the bible and how these Hero's demonstrated their faith as we see in scripture. We thank all of our teachers for their willingness to formulate and prepare everything needed for the lessons this year. We are so blessed to see the joy on the kids faces when they hear it is time to go to Kids Ministry.

Theme 2023
The theme for our church this year is "Put on Jesus". We believe that our children need a firm foundation built on the Word of God in order to stand firm through the various challenges they will face, especially in the last days. We are excited to be utilizing the KINGDOM QUEST CURRICULUM from this year 2022 into 2023. This curriculum is adaptable, which enables us to tailor the lessons to each age group and individual needs of the children attending our Kids Ministry:
"It’s highly RELATIONAL. It shifts from Sunday school teachers who try to deliver the entire lesson in classroom teaching style to small group leaders who help kids discover the truth of God’s word.
It uses CREATIVE presentation techniques. When all the kids from the ages grouped together come to watch the Bible event, it might be a story tell presentation, interactive drama, or even video clip. Puppets help set up the lesson.
It is JESUS-CENTERED. All lessons point to the main theme of the Bible: God’s rescue for us through His Son Jesus. The broad biblical scope gives you a balanced 10 year scope and sequence."

Our theme for this 2021 as a church is "Just One". We have been challenged by our Pastor to reach and disciple "Just One" person this year and we would like our little ones to take on the challenge of telling others about Jesus, but in order for them to do so, they need to know who Jesus is. So the theme for this year in our children's ministry is "WHO IS JESUS"? Over the next year we will be focusing on why Jesus was sent, aspects of His ministry, His nature and character and who the Bible says He is. We will take a closer look at some of the signs, wonders, miracles and healings/deliverances He performed and give the kids a platform to grow in the various gifts that might already be in operation in them. We want our kids to come to the understanding that when they receive salvation they receive Christ into their hearts and through the power of the Holy Spirit that is at work within them, they would be able to do the works that Jesus had done and greater according to John 14:12
